Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Houston, Texas. This role is primarily focused on managing and optimizing Dealer Management Software (DMS) to ensure seamless integration with other business systems and provide technical support to dealership staff. The successful candidate will be involved in troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with software implementation, and maintaining system security and reliability. Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DMS applications to ensure minimal downtime and efficient system performance. • Collaborate with dealership teams, such as sales, service, finance, to identify and address any technical needs or issues. • Stay abreast with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to DMS. • Assist in the implementation, customization, and upgrading of DMS software as needed. • Install, configure, and maintain DMS software and related infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, and security. • Provide training and support to dealership staff on how to effectively use the DMS platform. • Monitor and manage the DMS platform to ensure its seamless integration with other business applications and systems. • Document technical processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference. • Maintain system backups and assist with disaster recovery planning. • Handle troubleshooting of network, hardware, and software issues that affect the DMS. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. • Expertise in Cisco Technologies, including the ability to install and configure network devices. • Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, with an emphasis on virtualization, networking and cloud services. • Solid understanding of Computer Hardware, able to perform upgrades and repairs as necessary. • Experience with Dell Technologies, including server, storage, and networking solutions. • Proficiency in Active Directory, including user and group management, and policy configuration. • Skilled in the use of Apple Devices and knowledge of their operating systems and software. • Knowledge of Backup Technologies, ensuring the safety and recoverability of data. • Experience in Configuration Management, including the ability to maintain and improve system performance.
