Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. The primary role will be to manage and maintain the hardware, network, and software components within our organization. In addition, you will provide technical training and support to users across various sites in the Houston and Bryan areas. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of various hardware components • Manage network systems and ensure their optimal performance • Oversee the operation and maintenance of software applications across the company • Offer technical support and training to users, ensuring efficient use of systems • Provide support for mobile phone systems within the organization • Travel between facilities as part of your role in providing comprehensive technical support • Work on the configuration and management of backup technologies • Ensure efficient operation of Apple and Android devices within the company • Provide support for printers and other peripheral devices • Manage and maintain Dell and Cisco Technologies within the organization • Oversee the operation and maintenance of Active Directory and Citrix Technologies. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Technologies. • Familiarity with Citrix Technologies and ability to utilize them in a desktop support context. • Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Hardware and ability to perform necessary repairs or upgrades. • Proficient in Dell Technologies, including hardware and software aspects. • Experience with Active Directory, including user administration and group policies. • Ability to support Apple Devices, including troubleshooting and maintenance. • Experience with Backup Technologies, ensuring data safety and recoverability. • Knowledge of Configuration Management and its application in a desktop support setting.
