Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in New York, New York. The role is crucial to the smooth operation of our IT environment and involves a variety of responsibilities, from maintaining the end-user IT environment to providing support to colleagues and participating in IT projects. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the daily IT management and maintenance tasks to ensure a risk-free environment • Assisting users in resolving IT-related issues to facilitate smooth operations • Maintaining an updated IT company asset inventory for accurate records • Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently for seamless transactions • Providing adequate and timely communication and support to colleagues for efficient collaboration • Participating in IT projects to stay aligned with the company's strategic goals • Ensuring a smooth IT environment in support of staff, clients, and the business as a whole • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action to maintain customer satisfaction • Maintaining accurate customer credit records for future reference and analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware: The candidate must possess excellent knowledge and skills in computer hardware and be able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues effectively. • Mastery of Microsoft Office 365: The applicant should have a strong command over Microsoft Office 365 suite and be comfortable with its daily use for various tasks. This includes word processing, data management, email, and calendar scheduling. • Experience with Active Directory: The job requires the candidate to have substantial experience with the Active Directory, including managing user accounts, resetting passwords, setting up permissions, and troubleshooting related issues. • Familiarity with Windows 11: The potential candidate must have hands-on experience with Windows 11. They should be proficient in its installation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting any software or system issues.
