Position: IT Desktop Support Analyst - Technical Lead (direct hire-permanent)
Location: Des Moines, IA (onsite)
Salary: up to $75,000 base annual salary with excellent benefits

Join our financially stable and thriving mid-sized client company as the IT DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST - TECHNICAL LEAD in a direct hire permanent position. Leverage your 3-5 years of IT infrastructure desktop tier I thru tier III level experience, to provide excellent end-user support and serve as a technical lead for a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage the daily activities of the End User support team; monitor the ticket system to ensure efficient, effective resolution.
+ Take on desktop infrastructure projects supporting current and future initiatives.
+ Administer corporate SharePoint and OneDrive environments.
+ Provide escalated support for team members.
+ Travel to nearby locations within the metropolitan area as needed, no overnight travel.
Preferable Skills & Experience:
+ Desktop support including MS Office 365.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager, Windows Update Services, SharePoint, OneDrive, and current operating systems.
+ Knowledge of network services related to desktops.
+ Understanding of Windows imaging and desktop deployment processes.
+ Familiarity with VMWare Horizon and mobile device options and operating systems.
+ Leadership experience.
This role requires multitasking, quick adaptation to changing environments, strong communication, and documentation skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory and Configuration Management
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Windows 10
• Prior experience in a technical lead role within a desktop support environment
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support or a related field would be advantageous
