As Desktop Support Officer you will be the first point of contact, provide technical support and advice, and troubleshoot and resolve typical IT problems. This role will be a challenge and expose you to a busy helpdesk/desktop support environment in a dynamic global company.
This is a full- time position with a competitive salary which is based at our corporate head office in the Toowoomba area.
Main Responsibilities
Analyse, diagnose and resolve problems Provide technical support to ensure the smooth running of the system and network services Log, maintain and respond to support requests in the IT Helpdesk Service Desk Identify requests that require additional expertise and escalate for resolution Undertaken IT onboarding and offboarding Assist with computer software installations, and supply of IT peripheralsAbout You
To be successful in this role:
Demonstrate prior experience of providing helpdesk/desktop with a strong focus on investigating, analysing and providing solutions for your client Possess excellent time management to prioritise and log support requests to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure concise messages are given Possess knowledge of network and IT infrastructure Experience in local and wide area networking Experience with personal computers, mobile and data services, computer networks and communication technology Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamQualifications & experience
Ideally you will have:
Qualification in information technology or similar, or equivalent experience 2+ years demonstrated relevant experienceAbout Wagners
