Desktop Support Specialist

Kforce is working with a company on hiring a Desktop Support Specialist in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This is an onsite position.
Primary Objectives:
* Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support to end users onsite or remotely
* Follow and maintain compliance with documented Asset Management procedures, ensuring accurate records in the CMDB
* Conduct physical inventory audits of IT assets, collaborating with management to clean up and e-cycle outdated equipment
* Organize and manage physical IT assets, adhering to Company's device lifecycle processes
* Work independently and meet deadlines as established by management
Key Responsibilities:
* Desktop Support Specialist will manage hardware assets in alignment with Company's lifecycle processes
* Create, respond to, and resolve incidents and service requests per predefined processes and SLAs
* Maintain clear and professional communication with end users
* Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding (both remote and in-person)
* Support and administer third-party applications
* Manage user and computer properties on systems such as DHCP, SSO, MFA, and AD
* Perform system and software upgrades and maintenance
* Configure and provide support for desktops, laptops, and printers
* Ensure proper deployment of end-user machines by following build checklists
* Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Office (O365), MS Teams, virtual machines, networks, and Windows File Shares
* Maintain accurate records of completed system builds
* Coordinate with vendors for end-user hardware break-fix cases
* Perform regular lifting or moving of equipment, up to 50 lbs.
* Handle additional tasks as required
