Description Robert Half is in search of a Desktop Support Technician to join our client's team in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. This role involves managing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and working with external vendors. This is a Direct Hire role that will require onsite work. Responsibilities: • Handling all technical support inquiries as the primary point of contact via phone, email, or ticketing system • Assisting -end-users with IT related issues • Managing the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for end users • Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across our organization • Working with IT team members for upgrades and new projects • Documenting technical issues and their solutions • Assisting in the onboarding and offboarding of employees • Maintaining IT inventory Requirements • Proficiency in using and managing Ticketing Systems • Demonstrated experience in Network Troubleshooting • Proficient in using and managing Microsoft Office 365 tools • Solid understanding and experience with Active Directory • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work well in a team and independently • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery • 2 or 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred • Detail oriented certifications like CompTIA A+ are an advantage Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
