Rite-Solutions, Inc., is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for on-site support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). You will assist in implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Linux issues relating to performance and compliance and security hardening.\n
Principle Duties and Responsibilities\n\nProvide contact and problem resolution for users with hardware, software and applications problems.\nProvide computer compliance and technical support for Linux, software and peripherals and support maintenance of internal custom applications.\nRoutine hardware set up, troubleshooting and replacement; software installation and evaluation; and use of various spreadsheet, word processing and database application programs.\nPerform virus detection and cleaning.\nRoutine research and implementation of compliance solutions in strict accordance with established guidelines.\n\n
Additional Requirements\n\n3+ Years' Experience\nCandidate must have Security+ CE and Red Hat Linux certifications\nLifecycle management tool such as Forman.\nAnsible Automation Platform Tower knowledge a plus.\nKnowledge of implementing and supporting Delania formally Centrify\nKnowledge of integrating Linux within an Active Directory based environment\nExcellent communication skills required\nExperience with Active Directory and Remote Desktop\nPosition requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance with the US government; active security clearance preferred\nMilitary or government experience preferred but not necessary\n\n
