Position Summary: We are seeking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician/Analyst to join our team at our Fort Lauderdale Corporate Office. This position works the day shift help define the technology direction. You’ll also` be troubleshooting, responding to questions, and finding solutions to technical issues. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in projects, improve our documentation, and work on our processes and knowledge base. The ideal candidate has a technical mindset, loves to troubleshoot and problem solve, and has experience working with a range of devices. Most importantly this position must excel at providing high levels of customer satisfaction. Candidates need to be able to cross-train and rotate job functions to gain a broader perspective and breadth of expertise and to provide the Service Desk with more flexibility in meeting support needs. Additionally, this position requires the ability to pursue training in order to develop additional skills which are required to provide support in our environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Respond to incident tickets, email, and personal requests for technical assistance. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair systems, hardware, peripherals, printers, wireless devices, and applications. Including but not limited to Windows , Office 365, Client Access, Client/Server software and other locally installed applications. • Partner with team to design and implement standard that will be leverages within the desktop and store support teams • Implement MDM solutions • Implement patching and monitoring solutions • Onboard new users • Responsible for white clove treatment to our C Level’s and VP’s. • Mange and support all Video Conference and Digital Signage Education, Experience & Skills: Minimum education required/preferred, area of study: • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field Minimum years of relevant experience required: • 2+ years’ experience in a desktop support role • 2+ years’ supporting a mac platform Additional skills/knowledge required include: • Image building Standards • Office 365 • MDM knowledge • Desktop/Laptop remote management • Experience with mobile devices • Good understanding of Active Directory Special certification(s) or technical skill(s) required: • MS Certifications related to desktops management Preferred experience, certification(s), skill(s), if applicable: • Customer Service Experience (with all levels, including Executives) • excellent communication skills To review many of the benefits West Marine offers, along with starting pay ranges for select states, please visit our benefits page at www.embbenefits.com/wm-home/ .
