Description We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to provide comprehensive technical support to our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing desktop and laptop computers, ensuring that our team has reliable access to the tools they need to perform at their best. Key Responsibilities: + Technical Support: Respond to user requests via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues effectively. + Maintenance & Repairs: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. + System Setup: Assist with the deployment, imaging, and configuration of new devices for employees. + Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and asset inventories. + Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to resolve complex issues, escalate when necessary, and implement new IT initiatives. + User Training: Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on software applications and system functionalities. Requirements Requirements: + Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role. + Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, common office software, and basic networking concepts. + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. + Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
