Desktop Support Technician
Description Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join their organization! Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: + Providing remote and onsite technical support for users. + Updating firmware on the SAN, VMware servers, and switches + Ensuring consistent web-filter/VPN functionality + Network connectivity troubleshooting + Firewall management, including connectivity, research, and problem resolution with vendor assistance + Management, maintenance, and support of the company IP phone system + Administration of camera systems in partnership with third-party vendors + Troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems + Maintaining computer and server upgrades + Rebuilding computers and laptops. + Configuring computers for end users + Providing technical hardware, software, and network problem resolution to end users Top Skills: + 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting hardware issues + Working experience with hardware + VMware experience is a huge plus + Troubleshooting, supporting, and configuring firewall rules, network connectivity, switches, and Wi-Fi APs with the assistance of vendor support teams Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
