Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various store locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Desktop Support Technician
**Location: Remote (must be in PST)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in the daily tasks of the IT Department, primarily focusing on handheld devices.
+ Provide technical support to store staff via phone, MS Teams, or in-person interactions.
+ Manage and configure store handheld devices, ensuring a healthy stock of repaired devices.
+ Filter and assign new support tickets daily, maintaining detailed records of support activities.
+ Collaborate with colleagues to drive ticket closure and improve overall service efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proficiency in hardware, software, and networking, including experience with various device types.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
+ Experience in maintaining detailed documentation and user guides for support activities.
