Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Desktop Systems Specialist. This is a one-year contract assignment, fully onsite in North Phoenix (Norterra area). In this role, you'll provide essential technical support to our employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our network infrastructure and internal systems. Responsibilities: * Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure, internal systems, software, and hardware * Installation & Troubleshooting: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues * Security & Maintenance: Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment * Communication: Effectively communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel * Recommendations: Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades * Project Participation: Participate in the development of IT and infrastructure projects * Training: Conduct training programs to educate users about basic and specialized applications
