Desktop Technician II
Description Responsibilities: • Install and manage IT equipment such as monitor arm, monitor scale, and mini PC at the Weighing Assistant station • Manage and maintain cables at each station to ensure a tidy and efficient work environment • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear during installation and maintenance tasks • Troubleshoot network connections and ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure • Support the Windows 11 client environment and help resolve any technical issues • Use Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to perform daily tasks • Maintain effective communication with end-users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions • Apply analytical skills to solve complex technical problems • Ensure all equipment installations are in line with quality assurance management standards • Leverage knowledge in computer engineering to enhance system performance and functionality. Requirements • Exceptional communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Fluent in English language • Experience with printing and desktop hardware • Proficient in cabling and PC operating systems • Strong analytical skills and ability to scale out • Understanding of IP Protocol and desktop support • Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) implementation • Familiarity with TCP and computer engineering • Experience in troubleshooting network issues • Skilled in equipment installation and safety gear usage • Knowledge of Network Information Service (NIS) and Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) • Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
