Job Title: Detailer (Solidworks)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Detailer proficient in Solidworks to design primarily custom sheet metal parts. This role involves collaborating closely with customers to gather specifications and complete drawings. Additionally, you will work alongside the manufacturing engineering team to ensure accurate production of the product, involving corrections to BOM, specifications, and drawings throughout the process. Responsibilities also include updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assisting on the floor with projects as needed.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Altoona, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will be part of a dynamic team of 2 other detailers in a cubicle setting but will spend about 25% of your time on the floor or with customers collecting measurements. Work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The dress code is casual, with jeans and a t-shirt appropriate, plus required PPE when on the manufacturing floor.
