Dev Ops Engineer

Your primary focus will be to make software teams and online services better by imagining and then building the Dev Ops infrastructure. You’ll need to be careful, organized, thorough, and reliable.



We are looking for someone who likes to build processes from the ground up, enjoys making continuous improvement and loves making order out of chaos using the latest tools and technologies. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain high visibility, have a significant footprint on the design and growth of a Dev Ops team, and be able to learn on a daily basis with top technical talent.



Skillset, Knowledge, Capabilities:

Experience in automating DevOps processes
Experience of software configuration management concepts and automation frameworks (Chef, Puppet, Hudson, Cruise Control)
In-depth knowledge of Linux
Extensive experience with VM technologies (VMWare / Virtualbox)
Experience working with robust, scalable, enterprise grade applications
Familiar with Git
Knowledgeable of Continuous Integration concepts and tools (Jenkins, Travis, etc.)
Knowledgeable of Continuous Deployment concepts and strategies
Proficiency with SQL databases
Capable with local servers, as well as cloud systems (Amazon AWS, Azure, Heroku, etc.)
Enjoys to make deployments and set up new machines (dev boxes, test servers, whatever) easy
Ability to monitor to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction
Ability to multiple priorities from multiple stakeholders and effectively prioritize
Confident and comfortable with the challenge of coming up with a vision about how to make things better, communicating that vision, and then implementing it
Efficient - constantly looking for ways to reduce energy expenditure and unnecessary labor to make our processes and systems more efficient.
