The equity front office development role requires an experienced senior engineer/architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance systems.  The successful candidate will be part of a global team working on our GETS platform for the growing equity business. The ideal candidate would demonstrate a passion for software development and be familiar with the recent trends in technology.  We're looking for a person who works well on a team but is capable of independently accomplishing tasks of significant scope and complexity. Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure are expected.

Equity Trading Front office developer responsible for:

•  Front office trading technology development for Equity Trading

•  Work actively on implementing equity-based order life cycle including trading, booking and allocation 

• Expert on designing and supporting messaging frameworks like Kafka and Quick FIX 

• Engage with trading teams and quants to gather requirement and assist with development and support of equity business related solutions

• Ability to work and communicate well with the regional/global team including business users on daily basis 

• Work with L1/L2 teams for day-to-day support of applications

Skills and experience required:

• Domain experience of front-office equity trading.

•  Experience in development & support of global equity trading applications (minimum 5 to 7 years)

•   Java - expert level, looking for a highly technical developer

•   Strong core java skills/experience

•  Strong database skills/experience (SQL Server) and in memory cache like GridGain/Ignite is a plus

•  Solid business knowledge in areas of trading and quantitative models.

• Experience in working with market data

•  Strong networking fundamentals and experience building low latency messaging based applications

• Looking for someone who has worked in a capacity with high intensity and attentiveness to trading environment

The Salary Range for this position is $150,000-$225,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
