CTG is seeking to fill a Developer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Overview: We are in the process of integrating a new vendor application from FIS Global: the Fixed Income Processing Suite (formerly known as InTrader), a comprehensive portfolio management solution designed for banks. We are seeking a developer with experience in system integration with financial, payment, depository, and data management interfaces, including but not limited to General Ledger, Clearing House, Demand Deposit Account, DTCC, and FDIC. Primary Responsibilities: Work closely with stakeholders such as clients, project managers, vendors, and technical teams to gather requirements and define integration needs. Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect various software applications, systems, and platforms. Ensure integration solutions align with the overall architecture and design principles by collaborating with other development teams. Document integration processes, including system configurations, data mappings, and workflows; create data flow diagrams for integration processes. Maintain code in GitLab, ensuring proper documentation during check-ins and merges. Support integration testing, including executing test cases when necessary. Provide designs, specify information systems solutions, and offer highly technical direction in the development of new or existing applications to solve basic to complex problems. Serve as a principal application designer for major modifications using analytical and technical skills in evaluating client requirements and processes. Oversee the day-to-day support activities and special projects, as needed. Scope of Responsibilities: The position works under the supervision of the Technology Team Lead. The role is competent to work independently on high-level systems analysis and technical phases of development. Capable of managing the activities of others on small to large scope projects and may lead project activities. The position involves interaction with senior management, other technology personnel, clients, and vendors. May be called upon to serve as a technical representative on committees and ad-hoc projects. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks on small to large scope projects. Provide backup to higher management as required. Education and Experience Required: Minimum of an Associate's degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in systems analysis/application development. Proficiency with .NET 6 or higher with C#. Experience with SQL Server (TSQL, SSIS), Power BI, and Azure development. Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms. Capable of working on multiple complex projects. Strong problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to target audiences. Strong organizational and time management skills, detail-oriented, and experienced in coordinating between applications and business units. Education and Experience Preferred: Good understanding of the Bank’s application framework. Subject matter expert in business with knowledge or experience utilizing the application/system being supported. Advanced knowledge of applications supported, with a sound knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications. Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
