Our department is at the forefront of developing advanced ASIC solutions for mobile network systems. We specialize in designing a powerful signal processing platform, featuring: DSP-cores, Common memory architectures, Sophisticated hardware accelerators for beamforming, encoding, FFT algorithms, and more.
These highly configurable and tailored architectures form the backbone of Ericsson baseband and radio products. We look forward for you as an ASIC Design Engineer to join our talented team responsible for the development of a complex job distribution and scheduling subsystem.
What you will do.
• Create advanced, power-efficient digital blocks using SystemVerilog or VHDL, maintaining high precision, scalability and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with system architects to define and implement groundbreaking microarchitectures that drive performance and efficiency.
• Partner with verification engineers in a continuous feedback loop to ensure robust and high-quality designs.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to achieve timing closure and enhance designs for optimal power and performance.
• Play a key role in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, pushing the boundaries of innovation in mobile network technology.
Skills you bring.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ASIC digital design using SystemVerilog or VHDL, backed by several years of hands-on experience.
• Experience of debugging, linting, synthesis tools, timing closure, power, and optimization challenges.
• Proven track record in micro-architecture/systemisation, showcasing your ability to conceptualise and implement complex designs.
• Technical problem-solving skills, an aptitude for creative solutions, capturing opportunities and being able to write maintainable code.
• Collaborative mindset, fostering teamwork, give and receive feedback, eager to learn and communication skills.
• Understanding agile way of working, source control and continuous integration tools, preferable experience of using GIT and Jenkins.
• A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
