PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 

SAP SCM solutions have achieved a leading market position and are used by more than 2,500 customers worldwide. We are aiming to innovate the SCM product portfolio through Integrated Business Planning and S/4HANA.

SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and expectations and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan, based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts.

The development and maintenance of SAP Integrated Business Planning is fueled by various customer engagements and the collaboration between several teams in different locations. Teamwork and collaboration with others are part of your daily business. We are a full stack team using Agile Software Engineering methods.

You will be a member of an inspired team focusing on the technical foundation of IBP modeling. The main technologies used are ABAP and HANA, but we also use JavaScript and OData. Changing technologies and system environments require your flexibility. A good understanding of complex logic and a deep understanding of SQL and SQL optimization techniques are essential skills for the team.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for an engaged person with a mature attitude to provide development and maintenance in the following areas:

Developing new functionality Code Ownership Solving customer requests through the message handling system Generating code corrections & code improvements Participation in the development feedback channel Quality assurance in your responsibility area Testing: the ongoing development of test cases during the implementation phase & module integration Supporting quality activities like test-driven development and the creation of automated tests

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

University degree in information technology, mathematics, or engineering Proficiency in object-oriented programming and strong technical skills Excellent English language skills written and oral Experience with the following technologies and concepts is considered as an advantage: ABAP SQL/SQL Script/RDBMS/HANA (CDS) JavaScript, UI5, Fiori Elements Experience with cloud development processes/paradigms Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills and a results-driven attitude Proactive and creative problem-solving with a positive, open-minded attitude Customer and service-oriented with a strong focus on quality

 

Preferred skills

SQL, ABAP, SAP UI5, JavaScript, HANA experience Full stack development experience Experience with complex applications and databases Experience in cloud application development Business knowledge in Supply Chain Management might be beneficial

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years of experience in the software development process of complex applications.
