Job Description: Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop high-quality, optimized code and applications with minimal guidance. You will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software, while collaborating effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize code based on user stories and requirements, ensuring quality and security. Conduct unit testing and document development stages. Independently implement algorithms and solutions following industry standards. Interact with customers to understand and address their needs. Mentor junior developers and provide feedback to help them improve. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Assist in defect management by raising, fixing, and retesting issues. Ensure adherence to project timelines, coding standards, and release management processes. Contribute to team knowledge sharing and status reporting.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, and GCP. Experience with Flask, API development, and data ingestion pipelines. Ability to write clear and maintainable code, with attention to testing and documentation. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Good communication skills and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of software development, databases, and technical design. Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools. Experience in working with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP is preferred.
