Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Developer/Software Engineer in Orlando, Florida. This role is centered around full stack design, development, and unit testing, with a focus on the Supply Chain industry. The successful candidate will be developing software fixes, improvements, components, and new integrations and applications of moderate to high complexity using modern software development paradigms. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and implement software fixes, improvements, components, and/or new integrations and applications. • Apply practical knowledge of development and engineering. • Work with Java/GCP/GKE/MongoDB for interface writing. • Utilize Gitlab and Splunk as part of the development process. • Engage in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. • Follow Agile methodologies throughout the software development process. • Use forecasting and replenishment tools such as Crunchtime and Blue Yonder. • Select appropriate components for software development. • Perform unit testing to ensure software functionality and reliability. • Manage and optimize supply chain logistics within the software solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages • Experience with GitHub for code version control and collaboration • Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in software development • Demonstrable experience in software design and engineering • Familiarity with MongoDB and other database management systems • Knowledge of supply chain logistics and replenishment systems • Ability to forecast and plan development timelines effectively • Experience with component selection in software development • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) practices • Proficiency in unit testing for software validation • Experience with Splunk for data analysis and visualization • Ability to develop and manage software interfaces • Experience in integrating various software systems.
