Development Analyst

Job Summary:

Pizza Hut is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Development Analyst to join our Real Estate Market Planning team. The successful candidate should be well-rounded in both quantitative and spatial analytics, strategic business initiatives, and database management. The role will focus primarily on transforming the trade area analysis methodology to effectively foster sales growth and customer capture across the US. The candidate will work cross-functionally to create streamlined processes, actionable insights and identify opportunities for restaurant growth.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

With the Mapping Manager lead the implementation of new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of protected delivery trade areas Utilize geospatial tools to research data within the trade areas determining accuracy and opportunities for adjustments Lead initiatives with franchisees to optimize their market coverage for customer convenience and revenue Conduct research and analysis to resolve franchise helpdesk tickets promptly while developing best practice procedures to proactively resolve future issues Ensure data integrity and quality control of various mapping files Work cross-functionally with technology department to build spatial and supporting information databases Oversee tracking and implementation of franchisee and other 3rd party requests regarding new real estate and map changes  Perform in-depth analysis and generate reports for special projects for the Market Planning Team The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives.

Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

B.A. or B.S. in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, Finance, Economics, Business or directly related discipline with 1-4 years of experience Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and Power BI GIS knowledge and ability to generate, manipulate, and implement spatial boundaries Highly organized with maintaining data Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast-paced, agile environment Ability to translate analysis into actionable insights Demonstrates innovative problem solving Ability to flex between independent and team based work Excellent communication skills  Hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in-office required

Preferred Requirements:

Exposure retail analytics platform such as Kalibrate or SiteZeus Familiarity with Alteryx or other data processing tools Understanding of Snowflake or other database tools Experience collaborating with Franchisees or other 3rd party vendors
