Development Assistant Coordinator

Kforce has a client in San Diego, CA that is seeking a Development Assistant Coordinator.
Essential Functions:
* Record all gifts in an accurate and timely manner using CRM database
* Prepare and send donor acknowledgement letters, while handling donor information securely and confidentially
* Accurately pull reports and prepare donor lists in accordance with segmentation criteria
* Assist Development Director with logistical, administrative, and event planning support for annual gala, including managing sponsorship benefits, ad solicitation, and vendor management
* Coordinate department spending requests and vendor payments in collaboration with accounting
* Compile and create donor packets and other marketing materials for prospective donor meetings
* Help with annual appeal as directed by the Development Director, including scheduling emails and social media posts in collaboration with marketing
* Conduct donor research as requested
* Provide administrative support to the Development Director, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors in fundraising and management activities
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Development Director or Executive Management
