Development Assistant - FlexStaff

Position Summary:
Communicates with donors and prospects. Maintains the Prospect Portfolio. Enters new prospects and other information on Raiser’s Edge. Maintains files and information relating to events/programs. Provides administrative support, as required. Utilizes departmental computer software.
Person will need to travel to both offices located in Lake Sucess, NY and New York City on alternative days.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a liaison between donors, prospects, committee members, etc. Maintains files and information relating to event/programs. Assists in organizing volunteers and staffing for special events. Drafts, transcribes and types various correspondences, as required. Performs receptionist duties, as required. Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages. Prepares profiles for potential new prospects. Enters prospect information on Raiser’s Edge. Prepares PowerPoint presentations. Performs related duties, as required.QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Prior related experience, preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications, required.Ability to communicate effectively.
