Posting Number: S06285P Department: Development and Alumni Relations Salary Range: $50,000 Pay Basis: Monthly Position Status: Regular full-time Location: Richardson Job Description: A successful member of the Callier Development team will thrive in a collaborative, open-minded, and trust-filled environment that advances the fundraising efforts of the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at UT Dallas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep respect for all individuals and a strong customer service mindset, recognizing the value of relationships at every level of engagement—including peers, donors, leadership, clinicians, patients, and the broader community. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; one year administration experience; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training & experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a desire for a career in fundraising. Preferred experience with at least one (1) year experience in development, preferably in higher education, or equivalent relevant experience. Candidates must also possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time-management skills. The position requires occasional evening/weekend hours and may require some travel. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. The Associate will enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously and be capable of prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. Some database experience is required. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge is preferred. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, well-organized, detail-and solution-oriented, and must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as time and project management skills.
