About the College
The Healthcare Education and Sciences at Belmont University is comprised of the Thomas F. Frist College of Medicine, The Gordon Inman College of Nursing, The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and the College of Sciences and Mathematics. The candidate will report to the Associate Vice-President of Development, Healthcare Education and Sciences.

Essential Functions
The Development Coordinator supports the mission of Belmont University by providing expert development administrative support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This visible and important role will communicate and interact with internal clients (deans) and important external clients (such as key donors and alumni).

Primary job responsibilities include:

Support the Associate Vice President of Development - Healthcare Education and Sciences through preparing itineraries, compiling meeting agendas and producing other meeting materials as needed. Assure that materials are accessible in a timely manner and kept confidential. Obtain a thorough understanding of Belmont University and the Advancement Office. Understanding of CRM and other database resources, in order to maintain data, compile and/or produce reports. Manage gift report and gift agreement process. Manage all data requests from Healthcare Education and Sciences team to Advancement Services.  Support stewardship programs especially with VIP constituents and donors.  Interfaces with internal partners (Donor Relations team) to ensure a superior level of stewardship for donors to HS colleges. Support efforts to acknowledge gifts including preparation and proofing correspondence.  Managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
