Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position will work with frontline fundraisers, development staff, donor engagement staff, and the CU Foundation. The Development Coordinator will perform a broad array of assignments that comprise substantial variety, complexity and urgency including data retrieval and reporting, donor outreach, project management and research assignments. Job duties will fluctuate based on seasonal projects as well as overall priorities & goals of the University. The successful individual will be collaborative, meticulous, and outcomes-oriented with a team mindset to provide the support necessary to grow philanthropic giving across all. **Essential Functions** The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: **Data Management (50 - 70%, seasonally dependent)** + Assist with creation and maintenance of processes with frontline fundraisers and department leadership to drive donor interactions. + Analyze and compile data and information from the donor database. Employing a strong attention to detail, create donor profiles as needed to guide fundraiser, leadership and faculty interactions with donors and prospects. + In collaboration with Annual Giving staff, support back-end processes to maintain and update UCCS's digital giving site platform. + Assist in driving strategic decision-making by pulling reports, creating presentations, etc., to ensure fundraising priorities and goals are met. + Draft strong, clearly written communications (email and written correspondence, mass-upload contact reports, etc.) and ensure information is recorded accurately in CU Ascend database. + Ensure the integrity of donor data. + Integrate sustainable record-keeping processes into all activities and actively participate in executing these processes. + Compile lists of donors and alumni for mail and email communications, event invitations, and solicitations. + Participate in CU systemwide reporting Community of Practice, continuously learning and helping to identify opportunities and process improvements for UCCS. **Development Operations Support (30 - 50%, seasonally dependent)** + In collaboration with the Business Services Senior Professional, process and gifts and support stewardship to meet the business needs of the development office + Assist with quarterly transmittal log audits to ensure university, department, and system processes are followed. + Assist the Business Development Operations Manager as needed to monitor journal entries to ensure accurate financial transactions with the development speedtypes + Provide support for Advancement-related events as needed, including occasional nights or weekends. + Assist with development operations so that leadership and development team are empowered to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni and other donors.
