We are seeking an experienced Development Manager – Entitlements & Land Development to lead entitlement and land development efforts across multiple projects. This role is integral to our national, full-service general contracting team, guiding clients through entitlements, due diligence, and land development to facilitate project approvals and advance construction. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analysis to evaluate potential land acquisitions and development opportunities. Serve as the primary point of contact with government agencies, community groups, legal counsel and design consultants to facilitate entitlement approvals. Oversee civil engineering, infrastructure planning, utility coordination, and site development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project goals. Develop and manage entitlement and land development budgets and schedules, coordinating with internal construction team to align with overall project timelines. Work closely with construction, design, and business development teams to align development strategies with overall project execution. Stay up to date with changes in zoning, environmental regulations, and land-use laws to mitigate risks and maintain compliance. Represent the company in public hearings, community meetings, and stakeholder discussions to advocate for project approvals. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS BS in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 5-10 years in entitlements, land development, or real estate development, preferably in a general contracting or design-build environment Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning codes, permitting processes, and site development best practices MAKE YOUR MOVE ARCO is a premier, full-service design-build general contractor with more than 30 years of experience providing clients with complete project delivery nationwide.
