THE POSITION

\n\n

As a Development Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing development programs as a part of the Bell FLRAA development effort. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of various development initiatives to ensure successful outcomes. Your strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and technical teams, will be essential in driving the growth and success of our development programs.

You will report directly to our FLRAA Sr. Program Manager and you'll work out of our 34th street Honeywell Phoenix Engines site. This position will require a combination of on-site and remote work.

\n\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\n

 

\n\n\n\tDevelop and implement plans for development program execution\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor program health\n\tOversee the execution of development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives\n\tMonitor the progress of development initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders\n\tManage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective program delivery\n\tAdhere to the Honeywell IPDS process and manage a execute the necessary phase gate reviews\n\tFacilitate and ensure forecast accuracy monthly\n\tMonitor and report on monthly variance to plan\n\tEnsure accurate resource loading to plan\n\tWork closely with the development engineering team leaders to ensure program execution to plan\n\tWork with the FLRAA Sr PM to identify change and ensure customer change is managed\n\tUnderstand and identify scope change\n\tUnderstand and be able to identify key schedule risks and ensure risk is minimized\n\tManage and report on program risk and opportunities\n\tFacilitate development of WBS and WBS dictionaries.\n\tProcess and provide monthly EVS updates based on program execution\n\tManage OPSEC and CUI adherence.\n\tManage SDRL and data rights adherence\n\tIMS review and management\n\tExecute on the monthly MOS and ensure teams are generating program data in a timely manner\n\n\n

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in program management or related field\n\tStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change\n\tExcellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills\n\tAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities\n\tAbility to craft and deliver key messages at all levels of leadership\n\tExperience in the Aerospace Industry\n\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\n\n\tBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field\n\tExperience in managing development programs in a global organization\n\tKnowledge of best practices in talent development and employee engagement\n\tProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus\n\tExperience with military based programs\n\tImplementation and maintenance of OPSEC on development efforts\n\tUnderstanding of Honeywell tools and processes\n\tExpert in Earned Value Management\n\tProvide guidance & Coaching to peers and team members\n\n\n
