Responsibilities

Responsible for providing training, database management and customer support for a variety of Association event management systems (EMC). Responsible for responding to customers, volunteers and staff requests for data management, website updates, and related customer interfaces.

Provide training to internal and external customers of database applications for event fundraising, donor management and related activities. Schedule, plan and deliver training to users both in-house and at external customers’ locations.Respond to and resolve requests generated from users (donors, sponsors, volunteers, staff) event management systems. This may include systems supporting Heart Walk, Heart Ball, Go Red donor and sponsorship management, or other event and program campaigns.Identifies and documents event database best practices. Analyzes data and reports to review usage, accessibility, and data quality.Act as first point of contact for technical issues and for EMC changes and updates.
Learn event management systems intricacies and translate that learning into high-quality user documentation, training videos, and other resources.Design and deliver high-quality training sessions virtually and in person.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer applications, database management, or related areaThree (3) years of experience with database management, reporting or data delivery methodsTwo (2) years of experience supporting and training users of event management system toolsAbility to communicate with all levels of Association staffExceptional skills in customer service and support of EMC systems
Significant experience in assessing software, creating procedures, and writing user documentation.Understanding of adult-learning principles and techniques as well as training course design and delivery.
