This role is crucial in ensuring our employees have the technical support they need to perform their best.

 

About the Role:
As the Development Team Lead, you will manage the day-to-day activities of the IT department in various platforms, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CloudCraze and B2B Lightning), .NET, and ERP/Business application integrations. You’ll focus on detailed technical scoping, keeping the team on track with deadlines, change management, and ensuring work progresses at an appropriate pace to stay within project budgets and expectations.

Responsibilities Develop detailed technical scopes based on overarching architectural guidelines. Ensure these plans are clearly communicated and executed by the team.Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation practices for all projects.Maintains a deep understanding of core coding technologies (lightning framework, API integrations (SOAP and REST), triggers, flows, batch processing, and general Apex).Complies with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and administrative activities at the company.Conduct code reviews and ensure that all work meets the required standards and best practices.Manage daily activities of the team, ensuring tasks are clearly assigned and deadlines are met. Provide technical support and guidance to enhance performance.Serve as a Tier 2 support contact, focusing on troubleshooting integration-related issues.Monitor the team's daily progress to ensure the work pace aligns with project timelines, flagging potential delays early.Liaise with various stakeholders and/or coordinate with business analysts, ensuring there is a clear line of communication between technical teams and non-technical departments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of software development experience, including 3-5 years in Salesforce solution architecture or senior developer roles.Strong experience in Salesforce development and solutions; familiarity with .NET and integration technologies is a plus.Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II, or similar.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Gearset); proficiency with project management tools like Jira.Ability to design and align system components to meet project requirements and ensure seamless integration.Understanding of Salesforce system limits and constraints, including governor limits, with the ability to apply best practices for performance optimization.Experience designing reusable and scalable components for high-volume, enterprise-level environments.Experience integrating Salesforce with external services and APIs (e.g., REST, OData, SOAP APIs).Familiarity with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and B2B Commerce Cloud.Knowledge of SDLC methodologies for planning and executing development, enhancements, and support.Ability to design solutions that integrate with SQL-based ERP systems and third-party applications; coding experience is a plus.Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily technical tasks effectively.Experience creating detailed technical documentation and scopes.Ability to maintain daily work pacing to meet project timelines and budgets.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of successful cross-functional teamwork.
