**Overview** **Position:** Developmental Therapist- Madison, IN **Location:** 2420 Wilson Ave., Madison IN **Schedule:** on an as needed basis; Monday-Friday no weekends **Compensation:** starting at $45.00/hour KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a Developmental Therapist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team in Madison, IN! The Developmental Therapist is instrumental in the planning, evaluating, and implementation of developmental therapy treatment programs and activities for pediatric patients. **Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education** **Responsibilities** + Plans, conducts, and evaluates developmental therapy treatment/intervention programs and activities. + Interprets physician referrals and determines appropriate treatment procedures. + Makes recommendations concerning standardized treatments or intervention based on developmental indications. + Completes patient treatments related to various physical skills and functional abilities. + Interprets results and proposes a treatment/intervention plan in conjunction with other team members, including short and long range goals, frequency and duration. + Provides treatment/intervention according to the prescribed plan, including task oriented activities, neuro-motor activities, and patient/family counseling and activities. + Evaluates patient response to treatment/ intervention and makes recommendations on changes in treatment as required. + Maintains records concerning treatment/intervention provided, including both subjective and objective data. **Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, in Early Childhood Education, special education, elementary education, developmentalpsychology or related fields is required. + Credentialed/licensed for Developmental Therapy in stateof IN Preferred Qualifications: + First Steps experience **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
