Job Description This Device Test Engineer position would be with one of the largest utilities and telecommunications company in the Southeast. They would be responsible for receiving the devices from the vendor, load up the software updates to the device, and then test the device over a 5-10 day period. They would use QXDM, Wireshark, and other tools for the testing period. They would work in mainly two-week sprints for a small number of devices, and then start the process over again. This would be a team of 5-7 people. The salary range is around $80,000-$90,000, not including their bonus and pension.
