Manages, administers, supports, and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with systems administration
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python or Linux Shell Script
Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Additional Qualifications:
Experience managing systems using Salt
Experience with NiFi
Experience with cloud solutions or providers, including AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems
Knowledge of common build tools, such as Maven, Gradle, and NPM
DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
