Within the context of performing QA in Devops Methodology and as a SOA Testing lead, the ability to perform several of the following functions constitutes the minimum responsibility to be performed by the testing Lead:Developing test Strategy and test plansDevelop and manage test cases to have full test coverage of all requirements for projectEnsure requirements traceability by mapping all test cases to system requirements.Follow established testing processes and procedures as outlined for system under testReview test cases based on technical requirements with detail steps and expected resultsReview test data including the execution of test scripts and use cases and verification of outputConduct and track functional, system and regression testing activities for all applications in support of the project.Analyze test results, record and track issues/defects found, conducts regression testing if requiredReview defects when test cases fails, with step by steps details to reproduce the defectDocument and manage test plans, test cases, defects, and trace them in HP-ALMIncreasingly develop expertise of testing skills and industry knowledgeQualifications:
Candidate should possess the following minimal qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in specialized field or 5 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Good knowledge on Devops methodology and should be able to create Test Strategy and PlansIn depth knowledge of DevOps testing, enabling early and automated verification of build as well as continuous integration of the progressive automation suite.Working knowledge on SOA Testing: Business scenario driven testing, Stubs, Functional, PT and regression testingUtility company experienceExperienced in testing methodologies and testing processesExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent knowledge of PC based Microsoft Office applications, including; Ms Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Ability to handle and resolve conflictsExcellent interpersonal skills conducive to working in a team environment across all skill levels and departmentsAbility to facilitate and negotiate between departments/divisionsAbility to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeSelf-motivated and proactiveAble to drive results while maintaining a collaborative and respectful environmentExperience completing multiple assignments simultaneously, working well under pressure, and adjusting to changing prioritiesExperience supporting project teams and interfacing with various organizations to resolve testing issuesAbility to analyze, perform, and validate test scenarios when neededExperience in testing management tools such as HP ALM
