Description + This initiative is part of a larger project to expand and enhance the current cloud environment and applications hosted within. + Hands on Expertise in creating, using, and debugging Terraform code and configurations; testing INFRA modules created using Terraform + Hands DEVOPS & CLOUDOPS with provisioning and Config management technologies + Gathering configurations from existing infrastructure (Servers, Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.), & Storage) + Hands on expertise in Ansible Playbook and XLR + Hands on expertise on Windows and RHEL Operating Systems as SysAdmin + Excellent and pleasant communication skills to work with Executives and Senior Leaders Ideal Profile The ideal profile for this need is some one with a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer background , that has the ability to develop and modify terraform templates and modules, for automation needs. As well as, someone that can read and patch Ansible playbooks with YAML. Along with the traditional maintenance expertise and can oversee and maintain the server environment hosted in all areas, such as on premise, virtualized and cloud based. RedHat Linux, Tomcat, WebSphere Additional Skills & Qualifications • Up to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measures • Experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture • Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes • Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems • Professional work experience in analyzing computer hardware and software • Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan Experience Level 3 to 7 years of experience Project Duration The initial contract is set for 12 months and has budgeted extensions to go to 18 and then 24 months, based on performance.
