**DevOps - Datadog SME** **Seattle, WA** **Direct hiring - FT w/benefits** We are looking for a DevOps - Datadog SME to add to our growing team with Seattle based end client. Responsibilities: + Lead the design andimplementation of Datadog solutions to monitor and manage the organization'sdiverse infrastructure, applications, and services; collaborate with ITand development teams to ensure effective integration of Datadog into theexisting technology stack + Integrate Datadog SaaSwith cloud platforms, container orchestration tools, as well ason-premises hosts to provide comprehensive monitoring across the entiretechnology stack; participate with Datadog Agent-based integrations,deployments, custom YAML configurations, and revision control options;coordinate with DevOps teams to automate monitoring and response processes + Serve as the primarypoint of contact for Datadog-related inquiries, providing expert guidanceand best practices; stay updated on the latest Datadog features,integrations, and industry trends to optimize monitoring strategies;highly knowledgeable specialist in one or more Datadog product area(s);reproduce technical issues and dive into Datadog's integrations + Lead a team of monitoringengineers, providing mentorship, training, and technical guidance;collaborate with cross-functional teams to align monitoring strategieswith business goals and objectives + Design and implementperformance monitoring solutions using Datadog to identify and addresspotential bottlenecks and inefficiencies; work closely with systemadministrators and engineers to optimize resource utilization and enhanceoverall system performance + Maintain detaileddocumentation of Datadog configurations, monitoring policies, and incidentresponse procedures; conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions to empowerthe broader technical team with Datadog expertise Qualifications: + Minimum seven years ofrecent experience in the DevOps SRE space with at least five years ofDatadog specific experience + Bachelor's degree from anaccredited college or university in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications suchas Datadog Certified Associate or Datadog Certified Professional arepreferred + Experience with SIEM(Security Information and Event Management) migration (from tools such asNew Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, etc) + Extensive hands-onexperience with Datadog, including dashboards, alerts, and log analysis;scripting experience using Python, Powershell, and/or Bash + Possesses an explorercharacter with excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux administration + Excellent communicationand collaboration skills **The benefits our employeesenjoy:** + 401(k)Savings Plan- Matched 150% up to 6%.
