Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior DevOps/EKS Engineer to join our Biotech client engineering team. Your primary focus will be on building, consolidating and migrating Kubernetes workloads as they migrate from an existing Kubernetes platform to a new one. Collaborating closely with Platform Engineers, Architects, and Developer experience advocates, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure that supports our applications and services. This position requires technical expertise, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at Roche. Responsibilities:  - Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support organizational applications and services.  - Enhance and maintain the CORE capabilities and features of the platform.  - Work collaboratively with architects and stakeholders to ensure technology goals align with the roadmap.  - Manage and maintain the gCS container orchestration platform, Nebula.  - Consolidate workloads across multiple AWS accounts and EKS clusters.  - Provide expert guidance to engineers and development teams, acting as a force multiplier by promoting best practices, tools, and methodologies.  - Promote an "Everything-as-code" approach to peers. - Stay informed about industry trends and recommend new tools, technologies, and services to enhance the development team's capabilities. Skills and Requirements - 7+ years of DevOps engineering experience  - Expertise with container orchestrators such as EKS, GKE, AKS, etc.  - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, etc.  - Strong background in declarative management tools like ArgoCD, Flux, etc  - Deep understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).  - Experience in scripting with Python or Go.  - Extensive experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry.  - Strong experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.  - Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps. - Proven ability to use cloud-native tools and services to create solutions that deliver value to end-users (e.g., ECS, Fargate, Lambda, etc.). null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
