We are seeking a Junior DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application Engineer to join our team supporting the Xacta Application Suite, deployed in both on-premises and cloud environments. Based in the Pacific Time Zone, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of automated systems, ranging from small to large-scale deployments. As a key contributor, you'll apply your knowledge of Linux (RHEL and AWS Linux), Docker containers, Git, and CI/CD processes to deliver secure, functional solutions in collaboration with team leads and clients. This position also provides exposure to all tiers of the Xacta development and operations teams, making it an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic learner eager to grow their skills in DevOps and infrastructure engineering.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle challenges while performing software deployments, providing Tier 2-3 troubleshooting, and offering operational support to internal teams. You’ll also develop automation scripts, document investigations and resolutions, and research new technologies as assigned. We’re looking for someone with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in Linux, Docker, and scripting. While this is a junior role, additional experience with GitOps, Ansible, AWS, Kubernetes, or VMware would be highly valued.
