Description We are in search of a DevOps Engineer who will contribute significantly to our team. Based in a remote setting in Pennsylvania, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role within our company, offering their expertise within the industry to ensure our technical operations are as efficient and reliable as possible. Responsibilities: • Ensure the design, deployment, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure is achieved with precision and efficiency. • Allocate and manage resources effectively in order to cater to both business and technical requirements. • Keep a close eye on system performance, making it a priority to ensure high availability and reliability at all times. • Work in close collaboration with software development, data, and economist teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with project needs. • Put in place and manage security measures to protect the environment. • Keep infrastructure costs optimized and maintain an appropriate spend profile. • Automate deployment and provisioning processes to improve efficiency. • Troubleshoot and resolve any infrastructure-related issues that arise. • Stay current with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure the best possible service is offered. Requirements • The candidate should possess proficiency in Amazon EC2. • A strong understanding of Ansible is required. • The role necessitates knowledge in Apache ANT+. • Applicants must be familiar with Apache Tomcat. • Experience with Atlassian Jira is a must. • The candidate should be well-versed in Agile Scrum methodologies. • Automation skills are essential for this position. • The applicant should have a strong background in AWS Technologies. • An understanding of Cluster Analysis is necessary. • The role demands expertise in Configuration Management.
