RESPONSIBILITIES

 You own and represent the services and tools everyone needs to be successful in the organization Champion DevOps adoption and ensure best practice are followed and ensure no developers are left behind Ensuring overall team product development delivery is successful and on time Coaching and guiding app teams to leverage the pipelines and automated tests to their fullest potential Delegating and orchestrating tasks and managing dependencies Supporting leadership as they define and drive technical vision and decisions Helping to plan and implement a re-architecture of our primary application, ensuring that it is being written in a module way so that we keep our implementations DRY With defense in-depth, you keep our systems, people, infrastructure, and data safe Mentor and review, holding up the highest standards for rigorously tested and secure systems Enthusiasm for constant improvement within your team and beyond with the desire to leverage your hard-earned skills and teach them to others Participate in new tool adoption, POC process and provide recommendations Evolve DevOps with additional value add services for app teams

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of experience in information technology with 2 years in DevOps Scripting skills in Python, bash, or CloudFormation Certification in one of GCP, Azure, or AWS Solution Architectures or Microsoft IT Professional certifications Knowledge of build processes for various technologies like npm, maven, MSBuild, or Rancher Experience testing the performance, stability, and security of mission-critical systems Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices and AWS Security and Best Practices Experience with Data Backup and Recovery Time Objective implementation Infrastructure Cloud Migration Experience Develop CI/CD DevOps pipelines using python, groovy, GitHub, Jenkins or UrbanCodeDeploy Experience with Containerization or Cloud Native like OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, ECS, Docker Proficiency in source code management with Git. Experience with Amazon AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, EBS, EFS, SQS, Route53, Elasticache) 3 years HTML/CSS Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

This is a permanent role location in Toronto, ON (work from home) with an annual salary of $85,000.00-$98,000.00 per annum.
