Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a fun agile team working on Cyber solutions across multiple programs that directly impact offensive operational missions.

What You'll Be Doing:

Join a specialized team that develops and supports multiple projects and platforms that integrate and work together to provide operational support for a larger offensive cyber framework.Apply deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and various Linux distributions (Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu) to manage, deploy, and scale applications and solutions across both cloud and on-premise development and enterprise environments.Assist in driving the development of new tools and solutions tailored to meet evolving customer needs, leveraging expertise in code and other DevOps technologiesCollaborate in agile scrum cycles, contributing to design sessions, conducting peer reviews, and providing support for testing and documentationEmploy a broad range of DevOps tools including Gitlab, Atlassian suite, SonarQube, etc. to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality application deliveryOptimize CI/CD pipelines for efficiency and security while proactively identifying and addressing software vulnerabilities to maintain a robust and secure environment.Integrating with other projects on multiple Agile Release Trains (ART’s) to enable automated operations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of experience working within DevOps environmentExpertise in Docker and KubernetesPython or relevant coding experienceExperience with cloud-based platforms including deploying and managing applications in cloud environmentsProficiency with DevOps tools and CI/CD: Atlassian suite, GitLab, SonarQubeExperience with vulnerability management and patchingFamiliarity with Agile and SAFE methodologiesProficient with multiple UNIX/Linux distributions (Rocky, RHEL, Ubuntu) and able to troubleshoot across various operating systems.Experience in leveraging virtualization technologies and familiar with the deployment and management of virtual infrastructures (VMware/vCenter)Strong understanding of networking conceptsU.S. CitizenshipActive TS (SCI eligible) security clearance

Salary Range: 

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
