DevOps Engineer
Description: Role Description: In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and management of containerized applications on Kubernetes, with a specific focus on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA). You will drive the integration between ROSA and AWS, establish deployment standards, and contribute to the development of documentation and knowledge resources. Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud costs, and providing leadership in the adoption of best practices and new technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Expertly manage Kubernetes/ROSA and ROSA-AWS integrations. • Define and enforce standards and patterns for consistent container deployments. • Develop layout and usage patterns for OpenShift Operators. • Create and maintain Intranet FAQs, user guides, knowledge bases, and build documents for ROSA-AWS integration and platform deployment. • Design, implement, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines also enhance CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment cycles and high-quality code releases. • Provide leadership in identifying and implementing new concepts, techniques, and technology best practices. • Leverage AWS services to enhance application scalability. • Design and maintain standard templates, reference architectures, and design patterns to assist Platform/Cloud Engineers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support on migration and modernization towards AWS cloud. • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs. • Implement cloud cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively resolve performance issues using tools like Grafana and Prometheus. o Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
