The DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of software to test and production environments with a focus on quality.  Actively collaborates with Product Development teams to continuously improve release automation and practices.  Manages test systems and works with IT Operations to standardize automation and best practices.  A key contributor to the advancement of the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI-CD) pipelines to the desired state.

Provide support to the development and QA teams for the build and release process and environmentsSupport build and release process via completion of relevant assigned tasksServe as a point of cross-functional contact and expertise for the release process as well as build and deployment engineeringAid DevOps team in the maintenance of existing automated deployment operations as well as the advancement of desired state automated CI-CD Pipelines

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors in Computer Science and 2 years’ experience, orHS/GED and 6 years’ experience in programming in Bash, Python, Ruby, Powershell, or Groovy

Experience: 1 or more years with each of the following:

Continuous Integration (CI) toolsVersion control systems and migrations including Git, Bitbucket and TFSConfiguration management tools such as Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Salt, or ChefBasic networking (firewall, open ports), DNS & DHCPWindows technologies, including Active Directory, PowerShell, MS SQL, IIS

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or related field

Experience: 3 years related experience

1+ years of Cloud engineering, preferably AWS1+ years of experience writing and debugging SQL code1+ years of experience automating database deployments using tools such as Datical, Flyway, or Redgate1+ years of experience with Atlassian suite including, but not limited to Hipchat, Bitbucket, Confluence, and JIRA1+ years of experience with PaaS and container orchestration technologies such as Openshift and Kubernetes1+ years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
