Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands on experience with Azure ecosystem, a strong background in software development and operations, with a passion for implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
As aDevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the secure and efficient deployment of our applications and infrastructure in Azure cloud.
Core Responsibilities:
• Cooperate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture.
• Design and automate infrastructure deployment through IaC.
• Participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and knowledge exchange.
• Implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and infrastructure.
• Follow changes to security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management.
• Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with Azure and its related services (AppService, AKS, AKV, Private Networking).
• Experience with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps).
• Experience with implementing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, GitHub).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of networking technologies, security protocols and best practices
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration, including configuration, optimization, and security.
Education qualifications: Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.

Location: This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is for you to be present with your team in the office at least 1-3 times per week.
Working Hours: EMEA, approx. 9am-5.30pm (with some flexibility).
Compensation:
Salary for Slovakia starting from 2 900EUR gross monthly.
Salary for Czech Republic starting from 86 800CZK gross monthly.
The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.
