The team

The DevOps team at Hitachi Digital Services is dedicated to enabling innovation through infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, and site reliability engineering. We work closely with our development and operations teams to enhance efficiency, optimize performance, and support the deployment of cutting-edge applications, including Generative AI platforms. This collaborative team values creativity, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning, providing a dynamic environment where every member has the opportunity to drive impactful change.

The role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in building, automating, and optimizing our infrastructure. This position focuses on developing CI/CD pipelines, creating automation scripts (IaC, Alert as Code, Dashboard as Code), and implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. You will analyze operational performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and support our Generative AI application platform. Documentation of processes, SOPs, and knowledge management will be key to your role as you help shape best practices. This role offers the chance to drive efficiency, reduce manual work, and make a direct impact on our operational processes.

What you’ll bring

Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and management Proficiency in automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Ability to analyze and optimize incidents, problems, and alerts Familiarity with Generative AI platform solutions (preferred) Excellent documentation skills for SOPs, processes, and knowledge management Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
