Detailed description: The mission of this role is to accelerate Visteon’s reputation for technical automation excellence by developing, automating and integrating standard tools, Importers, exporters and other software tools enablement through Continuous integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD) infrastructure for automotive software projects within Visteon using latest technology or software development trends like agile or scrum methodologies. Also, troubleshoot and resolve issues in software projects automation.

How You Will Spend Your Days
§ Provide Continuous Delivery environment helping SW teams to deliver automotive high-quality software products and projects faster
§ Working with cross-functional teams to develop the necessary scripts to launch CI/CD on the infrastructure.
§ Development methodologies, and reduce time consumed for SW projects development which will lead to R&D Savings across the organization
§ Develop and integrate tools/scripts to automate the process of deployment.
§ Perform root cause analysis for production issues & troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
§ Adapt to new methodologies which the team implements and work to enhance them
§ Develop Groovy scripts for the Jenkins Job for the project team
§ Develop the CI/CD work flow based on CI/CD Architecture
§ Improve SW validation and quality assurance tooling and processes in Continuous Delivery environment with SW teams
§ Ensure build jobs are never failed due to tools reason and infrastructure.
§ Constantly monitor the build times and suggest if any modifications or tuning require for the build infrastructure.
§ Create efficient reports with respect to usage of build infra
§ Work closely with IT team to resolve any issues on hardware.
§ Troubleshoot any Jenkins, Artifactory, Electric Accelerator issues.

Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field in Computer Science or Electronics.
• At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Automated Deployments using some of the tools like DevOps, CI/ CD, GIT/Gerrit Jenkins, Docker, Art factory.
• Able to deploy CI in projects with Good knowledge in Jenkins
• Able to develop Jenkins file and use shared libraries
• Good Hands on scripting tools: Python, bash etc…
o Code Versioning – GIT / GitBash / TortoiseGIT / BitBucket / GitHub / Git-Flow strategy, SVN
o CI/CD – Jenkins, Master-Slave configuration setup (Windows) / Integration of tools like Git / Selenium /Artifactory
o Containerization – Docker, Kubernettes
o Methodologies & Tools - Scrum / Agile,
o Software Development Release Exposure– C/C++
o Ability to self-learn new technologies and work on POCs
o Ability to identify areas of Automation and implement using tools and reusable components
o Willingness to learn new technologies/products on the job
o Experience working in and have good understanding of Development process like Agile, waterfall
o Client interfacing in resolving the issues.
o Experience in Embedded Software Development or Exposure to Automotive Electronics but optional
§ Creative & strong problem-solving capability resulting in good solution to technical complex software defects
§ Strong communication and inter-personal skills
