Job Purpose

Be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Azure DevOps Server infrastructure and custom automation components. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing our build and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our software products, and collaborating with multiple teams across different global locations.

Responsibilities and Task:

Create and maintain CI/CD pipeline using the Azure DevOps Server platform

Create and maintain automated build processes using built-in tools as well as custom scripting and third party tools

Create and maintain desktop and web product installer projects

Monitor and improve build systems for optimum performance, reliability, and efficiency

Design, troubleshoot, and implement build systems for multiple environments and locations

Assist in SQL Server database configuration, backup, and restoration

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, using Agile / DevOps principles

Configure and manage monitoring and build system alert mechanisms

Collaborate with developers on application and build pipeline changes or enhancements

Document DevOps procedures, processes, and system diagrams

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or software design

Microsoft certifications or related DevOps certifications are a plus

Proficiency of CI/CD principles and tools

On-premise experience is preferred

Cloud experience in Azure DevOps Service or similar tools is a plus

Proficiency with C# (or similar object-oriented language) programming is strongly recommended

Proficiency in Windows scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) is strongly recommended

Proficiency with development tools like nuget, npm, git

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

Experience in go to market and product release schedules

Experience with the core principles of change management

Experience with code forking, branching, and merging strategies

Experience with IDEs (Visual Studio is preferred, RAD Studio is a plus)

Experience with Windows operating systems, Windows network environments

Experience with Application installer development (InstallAware is preferred, InstallShield is a plus)
