ResponsibilitiesDevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a DevOps engineer at EverWatch, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. QualificationsYou Have:
Experience with Linux CLIExperience writing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and AnsibleExperience with trouble-shooting large Linux ClustersExperience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/GrafanaExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Experience using Git for version controlTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer
